- The group imports and sells medical equipment, reagents and diagnostics, and ingredients for food, cosmetics, and pharmaceuticals, predominantly in Japan. Specializing in the fields of life sciences, medicine, and biochemistry, it continues to provide innovative solutions while working as an importer, distributor, licensor and manufacturer operating in compliance with the quality management system (QMS) of the Pharmaceutical Affairs Act.

History
Étienne Denis, the group's founder, was the grandson of a court clerk at the Parliament of Lorraine. His father was stationed as an officer of the Empire at Blaye, a port town north of Bordeaux. Étienne Denis began his career as a trade merchant by sailing to India, the African coast, Peru, and the Far East for the ship owners of Bordeaux.His integrity earned him the trust of many ship owners and that reputation has lived on, defining the Denis family to this day.
Saigon opened its ports in 1857, and Étienne Denis sent his sons off to Southeast Asia. In 1861 he made the decision tobuild a 227-ton sailboat called La Mouette (Seagull), 
committing the entirety of his wealth to the endeavor. On June 3rd 1862, Étienne Denis's sons boarded the ship to set off to the Far East. After their arrival in Saigon, the Denis Frères Group (currently the Denis Group) was established in November of 1862.
Today, 150 years after the group’s foundation, the descendants of the Denis family have taken the helm, expanding the business with the help of all their partners, carrying on Étienne Denis'vision. More details on the Denis Group Website
