Nichifutsu Boeki K.K. was incorporated in 1954 by the Denis Group in Tokyo. For more than 60 years, it has served as a bridge between French companies and the Japanese market. Then, from the early 1990’s, Nichifutsu Boeki K.K. began to specialize in imports and the development of a market for innovative food & beverage brands.
While representing the interests of AYAM BRAND™ in the Food Service sector in the 1980’s (excluding imports), it introduced the Italian organic food brand ALCE NERO™ in 1994. Then, in 1996, it began distributing MONIN ™, a brand famous for its innovative syrup.
Later, while continuing to develop new and original brands, the retail-based AYAM BRAND™ lineup was put together and a nationwide sales team was formed, allowing the market expansion.
In 2008, Nichifutsu Boeki K.K. opened an office in Osaka. In 2010, it began distributing the full lineup of (Food Service and Retail) AYAM BRAND™ products nationwide, and then subsequently opened an office in Fukuoka in 2011.

In 2011, Nichifutsu Boeki K.K. made a capital investment in Carne K.K., a company with a sales network boasting direct access to retailers specialized in the import of chilled ham, dry sausage, and charcuterie.
Then, in 2012, Nichifutsu Boeki K.K. and La Compagnie des Desserts founded a joint venture called France Dessert K.K. in order to import and distribute ice creams and frozen pastries to the Food Service market.
Today, the Food & Beverage activities of Denis Japan are represented by the NICHIFUTSU BOEKI GROUP of companies, and organized into five business units:
